Please forgive my ignorance (still a newbie):

I would like to gold mine for more gold, but having tried the examples I have read in this thread I do not get awarded any gold!

I tried the Nissan Silva Time Trial on Pure Stock Challenge, but each time I race I only get awarded R$ and no gold.

What am I doing wrong???
