It would be helpful to have a set of navigation buttons at the bottom of each page.

particularly the active thread button....or better yet, next unread active thread

If like me, most regular visitors visit the site looking only for new, latest posts....and once through to the bottom of an updated thread, they would prefer to jump straight into the next unread thread.... 

current layout requires lots of painful scrolling back up to top of thread to navigate back to next new "active topic"
