Congratulations Leicester City!

Tonight, one of the greatest sporting stories ever has played out.

Leicester City, who with less than a quarter of last season left, were odds on to be relegated from the English Premier League, have won the Football Premier League Championship having started the season at 5,000-1 rank outsider and actually favourite to be relegated.

With a budget of less than 25% of the "big clubs", 4 of which have gathered in every Premiership except one since 1992 - Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, Leicester have lost only 3 of 36 games played.

Most of the star players were rejects from other teams and this is a real story about a champion team rather than a team of champions.

And it gives everyone a little glimmer of hope that sport sometimes isn't just about money.  Even if you don't like the sport, and I am not a big fan, but do live in Leicestershire, this is a great story.

Interestingly enough, just 13 minutes later, the World Snooker Championship Final (best of 35 frames over two days) was won by Mark Selby, from Leicester.

Quite a story... Quite a celebration in the City tonight.
