LeMans Farming - Why 10 & not 4?

According to the data base, the 10 lap Endurance Champ event pays 28,800 FP or 2,880/lap.  The Classic Ferrari Showdown 4 lap event (21.3) pays 15,000 FP or 3,750/lap.  What am I missing in this comparison?
