Leaderboard (ULB) Issues and Suggestions

This thread is for open discussion of the Ultimate Leaderboard (ULB) feature of MRR.

The first post comes from Rob NL...

The forum/you has/have to agree upon rules weather non TT times will be valid or not. And if we have the rules it's almost impossible to have valid top times in the leaderboards without judgement the "hot" lap by a referee team through a video posted. I'm thinking about the UTT rules we had/have in RR2. A lap could be judged as valid if it wouldn't have lead to disqualification in a TT.

I had this very issue in mind when I added the video field to the ULB post form.  I had envisioned the addition of some sort of "dispute" feature where by one or more members could flag an entry as "questionable", in which case the entry would be considered invalid until verified by the addition of a video.  After being reviewed, the entry could then be flaged as either approved or denied.

I don't know the exact method that would bring about such approval/denial.  That is an important issue to be discussed here.
