Between level 100 and 110, multiply level number by 900 and then add 52,000

2. INTRODUCTION

It may be helpful to racers seeking gold to complete the game to know how much gold they can earn with level-ups, and also the fame required to earn a level-up.

We had a post going in mid 2014 of gold earned per level-up, and we were about to add fame required to level-up to this analysis, when suddenly gold rewards shot up by a factor of about 8, and in v2.4 you could level up after a single race of the 10-lap Le Mans circuit. 

Quite soon the Monkeys were not happy to learn that people were using this facility more than they anticipated and so they increased the fame required to level-up to compensate for this, and a short while later without warning a hot-fix was issued and it was taking 3 or 4 laps of Le Mans to level up.  After a multitude of complaints on the RR3 Facebook site, the Monkeys announced that the correction was imposed as there was "Too much gold flooding the economy" !

It would be great if we could restart the table and it would be helpful if people could calculate the fame required to level-up, so that we can complete the table.

To create the data you need to firstly take a reading of your total fame points when you receive a level-up pop-up screen. Second, take a note of the fame points when you next level-up after this. The 'fame required' for level-up will be the difference between the two readings.

Just post your results here and I will try and keep the table updated.

Preferably use figures for 2015 to ensure they are current.  Ideas and suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Please post or PM your fame needed to level-up, and optionally:

  1. Fame earned for last race in level-up. This indicates the accuracy of the data.
  2. Your game version number (for v2.4 or v2.5 only advise if with/without increased fame required hot-fix)
  3. If calculation is for 1 level-up, or averaged over 2 or 3 level-ups.

All data is helpful, but for more accurate data just before level-up you can run a race with a small amount of fame, as running long races with large fame (the 10-lap Le Mans can earn up to 56,800 fame) introduces large errors. Continuous data readings at each level-up are best as then differences in the end data are offset by differences in the succeeding start data.

Lets say fame is 6 million at level-up #154 pop-up, and 6,170,000 fame at level #155 pop-up, then the fame required to level-up for level #155 is 170,000. ]

Update:  

This is the outstanding fame data we are presently looking for:

1. Under level 100, with two adjacent levels both with low last race fame (i.e. 10 to 50), so that we can work out the exact fame formula algorithm from levels 0 to 100 and so improve the results table.
    This is quite a difficult task so please don't try to do this unless you think it's easy enough to do.
    Note: 10 fame can be obtained from going over the start line on an endurance race.

2. Above level 600, which can have any last race fame value, so we can figure out how far the existing trend-line continues upwards.

3. Old fame required for versions 2.4 and 2.5 before the July hot-fix, see Table 2. which had a much larger fame payout. We require
    level 100 to 250 (i.e. any level with a dash showing in Table 2.)
    This can have any last race fame amount and is just needed to check that inside these levels, fame required is approximately 3 times less than in the current version.

3. HOW TO DECIDE WHEN TO USE THE FAME AGENT
 

If the fame agent costs you 1 gold coin and will double your fame earned, then it pays you to use the fame agent for races when the fame to be won in the race is higher than the fame cost of 1 coin at your level. 

Example 1:

Lets say you are at level 60. The race is a 3-lap Le Mans and pays 5,000 fame.

Check the graph (see chart below) at level 60, which reads about 3,600 fame, and so it pays you to use the agent as you will receive an extra 5,000 fame, which is worth more than the fame cost of 1 coin of 3,600. You will receive a net benefit of 1,400 fame (5,000 less 3,600) worth around 1.4 coins (5,000/3,600).

Example 2:

Lets say you are at level 150. The race is a 3-lap Le Mans and pays 5,000 fame.

Check the graph (see chart below) at level 150, which reads about 6,000 fame. In this case it doesnt pay you to use the agent as you will receive an extra 5,000 fame at a cost of 6,000 fame, and you will be 1,000 fame worse off.

Once you are at level 100 the decisions are made easier. If race fame to be won is 7,000 or more go for it!

Note that the fame agent only pays you if you come first in the race. So only go for it if you are confident of winning.

The table shows a list of races having the top 15 fame payouts, and the last with high fame per minute.

The fame payout can be doubled with the fame agent provided you come 1st in the race. The fame agent, as with the other agents, and the daily bonus can be re-used by force closing the game. The 100% Daily Bonus doubles R$ but does not double Fame. In addition to the R$ figures shown, there is a 'clear round bonus' for lack of damage, which pays an extra bonus of 25% of the R$.

The 10-lap race is a perrenial favourite and has the advantage of paying out the highest 28,400 (56,800 with the agent), but the downside is that it takes about 28:30 mins, and so it could be useful to pause take a short break after 5 laps.

Some races in the table have a higher payout per minute (see table), and may be more efficient for farming fame, by continiously racing them repeatedly. However the shorter races when used for farming require a restart, and it can take between 1 to 3 mins to cycle to the start of another race, and so if racing multiple times, this must be added to the time taken overall. If the last race in the table, with 5,200 fame is re-run with the restart time factored in then for various restart times the fame per minute would be; 1m=1316, 2m=1051, and 3m=874.

If you are only want to race once per day to use the 100% daily bonus, consider which race you are likely to have time for each day, which may realistically be a shorter 2, 3 4 lap race.  For example the Ferrari Evolution 3 lap Le Mans in the F14T pays 9,100 fame (18,200 with agent), and takes under 9 minutes to complete.

The Indianapolis Speedway race is an Endurance race and so fame earned may vary dependent on distance, and with more practice fame winnings could increase to 9,800 (19,600 with agent) fame per race.

The R$ payout and other info may be found by using the MRR main menu at top, although some of the top fame races are presently work in progress.

It is the daytime race that most Gold Farmers will have run many many times from the Endurance Kings series (Tab 22.1 Day Race).
