When quoting some text coming from a completely different webpage, I usually use <quote> tags using the IRI instead of the name of the quotee.
Sadly, due to the "Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically." part, it ends up looking like this:
Please make sure your right hand is at the end of your right arm!
Instead of the expected
Please make sure your right hand is at the end of your right arm!
that I can only get by editing the source of the message itself.
Is there an easy way to simplify this procedure? Or to parse IRIs differently within quote tags? Or to exchange the order of the generation, changing IRIs to links as a very last step?
