My ancient iPad (iOS 9.3.5) will not allow me to update any apps, including the latest v9.2 of RR3. It seems the Aplle have made some background change that is preventing older devices from updating apps.

One solution that appears to work is to delete an app and then reinstall it. I've tried this with 3 other apps that refused to update and the delete/reinstall worked. However, none of those apps had any saved data, game progress that might be lost if the app is deleted.

Has anyone previously deleted the RR3 app and then reinstalled it without losing their stats/progress in the game?
