There are 51 events - 48 Trophy + 3 TT – with each car having a specific TT and 2-event showcase.  Any single car suitably upgraded can reach at least 75% (but if you drive anything like me you’ll need to dumb down for the later tiers with Mazda or Nissan!) 
Only the Audi will be able to be upgraded enough to open the last 4 cup races (PR 8.5/10.1/11.6/13.2) to complete the series.

Progress Rewards split:
25% - 6GC and R$6,000      [PR 1.6 using Mazda, PR 2.8 otherwise]
50% - 9GC and R$9,000      [PR 3.7 using Mazda or Nissan, PR 4.9 for Audi]
75% - 13GC and R$13,000   [PR 5.7]
100% - 20GC and R$20,000  

(As far as I know we don’t yet have upgrade costs for the Audi)
