Cup races where I have a close competitor happen less than 1% of the time.  This one happened today:

Got me curious about what other people's experience is.  Does this happen to you frequently?  Is there any pattern?  Is it more common in particuar series? 
Of course, it's also possible that I'm the only one who actually cares about this!
