I'm wondering what' the best way for me to get this car.

I have almost 900 gold for the Veneno, but I've only just unlocked the series. The Porsche 2013/2014 are unlocked for purchase, but the p1 isn't - which is weird, since it's the first car in the series. It's saying I need to get 2 trophies in vertex to unlock the first car in vertex...

Am I stuck with buying a porsche for 600-650 gold just to drop 720 on the veneno when I unlock it? Or is there a way to obtain the p1 for cash or veneno without running through the series?
