So just when I thought the monkeys were done doing their dirty business they strike back again!!!

I completed my Marquis challenge yesterday and proceeded to try to complete the RTLM challenge with 3 and a half days on clock. But today midway through Stage 9 I got a message saying that the challenge is over and I can no longer win the 919 Hybrid. I had about two and a half days left for the event to finish officially. Now it says I can continue racing to win 250,000 RS. What kind of joke is this? All that effort and money I put into upgrading the Hybrid is gone. Does somebody know the solution?
