There is one event I just seem to complete, and wonder if anyone has any ideas or help.

It's the Hunter event at leguna Seca (Vertex Series > SpeedRush TV Challenge > 18/2)

I am always given firends distance to beat of between 501m and 505m, although I have attempted this even 30 or so times trying every car available and the best I can get is 440m ahead of the stock.

I am using the standard control (Tilt/Brake), and have tried different leves of assists (high, low and off).

Like other events, no matter how many times I lose, the opponents don't seem to get dumber.  I even tried logging out of Game Centre, and running in flight mode, but for some reason I can't get rid of my friends times and race against stock FM bots.

Any ideas? I've been sitting at 99% on this series for months and it's really starting to annoy the crap out of me.
