I'm an Android kinda guy, but have been toying around with the idea of getting a second hand iPad, pretty much just to play RR3 on, mostly because there is still no sign of OMP happening on Android any time soon, and also because there's a lot of folk on these forums I'd like to race against who are GC only players, and of course Android can't do Game Center.

Anyway ... I've never owned an iThing ... so I'm just looking for suggestions for the "cheapest" (a relative term)  iThing I should look for second hand, which will provide a decent RR3 experience.

Related question ... can I cloud save my Android state, and load it on an iThing?  And then add GC friends?  Or would I have to start from scratch?

Related question #2 ... if I start from scratch, is it possible in the iThing world to find a 2.0 RR3 install, so I can 200GC farm my way to fortune, or would I be stuck starting on 2.1?
