So, I bought the Regera with the 40% discount, and have applied all R$ upgrades as well as a few GC upgrades, taking it to a current PR of 87.2.  (Upgrades = 1233122). That’s more than enough to get me through the Hypercar Charge Series, but I’m wondering about the Regera Exclusive Series which requires a fully upgraded car.
 
According to the upgrade guide over on the RR3 wikia site, it’s really not a profitable proposition for the following reason: it will require 709 GC to fully upgrade the Regera, yet the Exclusive series GC payout is only 165 GC…so you wind up -544 GC in the hole.

So, for those of you who have gone down this path, is there something I’m missing?  I’m sure the Regera will be a blast to drive in the Exclusive series…and I suppose I could claw back some of the GC by farming heavily in the series and leveling up.

Thoughts?  (I’m trying to take advantage of the current 25% off upgrade special, which ends in a day).
