Interesting/Worthless info about endurance events

Did you know that if you turn around and drive the track backwards in an endurance event that the distances counter subtracts mileage? No doubt you did. Did you know that if you drive off track while running the wrong direction the counter stops just like when you and running the right direction? prolly so. But did you know that if you stop while going the right way and then start reversing going back toward the start, or backing up, that the counter does not register that and does not subtract any mileage?

The only thing I can think this info might be good for is if you are in and endurance race and the baby picks up your wallet off the seat and tosses it out the window, than you are better off to back up to it, than turning around, but if you do, drive off track.
