2015 MRR Olympics (TTO) - Series 1

Welcome to the 2015 MRR Olympics (TTO)

This competition is for all racers who want to test their mettle against the best of the best, and master the tracks with the best of the best.

The competition is open to one and all, whether you are a beginner or an alien traveling at warp speed.  Everyone is encouraged to race along with us.

Rules

1. This competition is open to every MRR member, one entry per member.

2.  No wall-riding, no corner-cutting, keep two wheels on track -- please remember that this is a race amongst friends, so keep it fun, friendly, and fast.

3. You may race online or offline and any screenshot showing your best TT time or Enduro distance will be accepted.

4. Absolutely no speed/time hacks or mods allowed.  Any racer caught cheating will be permanently disqualified.  If you have any concerns about another racer -- whether it be cheating or being disrepectful of this competition or the racers -- please PM the organizers and we'll address the issue.

5. Other mods, including renting upgrades, skipping repairs, mod/hack currency, are allowed.

6. “Guest” accounts are allowed on a case-by-case basis. Racers who get the FEMA ban hammer will be accommodated to the full extent possible, including Guest accounts or late submissions once the ban is lifted.

7. Each event will generally be announced by Fri at Noon UTC, and the competition will run to the following Fri at Noon UTC (4AM San Francisco, 7AM New York City, 1PM Berlin, 5:30 PM Delhi, 9PM Tokyo, 11PM Sydney.)  Check your time zone to verify.

8. Entries are submitted via the Ultimate Leaderboard  (see ULB links below.)  Entries will be time-stamped as you post, but you may update your entry as many times as you like.

9. Other than the ban hammer exception, a late entry will only be accepted if no other racer objects.

Format

1.   This is an ongoing tournament, and you may join the racing at any time.

2.   Racers will be grouped into one of three (A, B, C) groups.  Racers may be reassigned after each Series depending on rankings at Series end.

3.   This Series will have 10 races (5 TT, 5 Enduro). We will maintain separate TT & Enduro leaderboards, as well as cumulative leaderboards.

4.   Your leaderboard rank will be based on your Gigi Ranking, a score based on your best 4 results from each of 5 (TT, Enduro) races.

5.   TT events will be chosen by a poll of the racers, Enduro events will be chosen by the organizer.

6.   When possible, Enduro events will be the same car/track as the TT.  If that’s not possible, then the organizer will choose the track/event and you’ll be able to race any car allowed on that Enduro track/event.

7.   For Enduro results we will accept either a “last second” screenshot (showing 00:00 time, with distance to a hundredth, e.g. 1.23 km/mi,) or a “final results” screenshot (showing distance to a tenth, e.g. 1.2 km/mi.)

8.   Record-keeping for Enduro events will be to a hundredth; for example, a “final results” screenshot showing 1.2 km/mi will be entered in our leaderboard as 1.20 km/mi, while a “last second” screenshot showing 1.23 km/mi will be entered as 1.23 km/mi.

9.   For Enduro events, consider submitting "last second" screenshots in order to avoid ties.

10.   In case of any tie, all racers with the same time will receive the same Gigi score.

Please use the links below to go to the appropriate TTO thread to post your screenshots.

Please do not post your results in this thread.
