Note that in Gauntlet 6 some serious R$ was required to RETRY some races in a row. It might be important to save some R$ because they could facilitate things there (for an even higher R$ cost).
Gautlet 6 brought shorter races at all levels, at the cost of highly difficult conditions and fast bots. If they decide to balance things further now by avoiding the few ultra-fast bots, and keep the increasing rate of points/time_played at each Boss level, this 7th season might be the case of completing it all in around 60-90 minutes of race, as opposed to an estimated nominal of 98 minutes in Gauntlet 6, and 340 minutes in Gauntlet 5.

I will probably not race the following Gauntlet 7 early as it starts (short of free time), but will try to update my table from The Gauntlet - Best Approach. If someone happens to gather some data early, please PM me or post on a future The Gauntlet 7 thread (ok, I wasn't going to create this one but my post to elsewhere was already becoming bigger and bigger ).

I'm usually more interested on #points and time playing (points/time rate), where time can be measured OR estimated from each race's info: type, circuit, and #laps. 
The indication of which race is a boss event also helps, since it doesn't add new points but instead just collects the previous ones to the bank. Fame data also makes good information. 

Whichever way it comes out, don't hate it and remember to have fun while playing, be it completing a few races a day or destroying it in its first evening!!
